Abstract

The subject of this article is part of the choice of a favorable site for the production of organic food. Consuming organic implies that we must produce organic taking into account the choice of the site. In our work, we therefore considered five sites evaluated by three actors on the basis of four criteria. The multi- criteria evaluation method used is the ELECTRE II method, which makes it possible to rank actions or alternatives from best to worst, admitting ties. This method is based on the synthesis outranking approach (Compare then Aggregate approach). In order to find a collective aggregation function fulfilling good properties, we used the median and the quadratic mean to extend the ELECTRE II method. In group decision problems, the multiplicity of actors taking part in the decision process and often having divergent points of view can lead to a situation of disagreement with regard to the criteria and actions to be considered.

To address this concern, we have made restrictive assumptions in order to make a numerical application where it appears that site A is the best with regard to the final ranking provided by our method.
