Abstract

The eye is one of the essential organs that allow to become aware of the environment. Its function is largely related
to the retina. Great knowledge about the retina is essential for a depth grasp of the vision. Many studies have been
done on the retina and different researchers have schematized the arrangements of its cells or neurons. However,
the explanations of the different kinds and of the number of these kinds are not until now been proposed. By
observing the retinal section diagrams on the one hand and on the other hand by relying on the interpretations of
the retina cells, we have found a mathematic formula witch explain the number and the functions of the retina cells
kind. This result would give a new dynamism concerning research on the eye, on the vision and beyond on the
nervous system.
