Microclimate regulation through green infrastructure is an important ecosystem service for human well-being, especially in urban areas. This study carried out in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, aims to establish urban green infrastructure types, to assess floristic diversity by green infrastructure type and to evaluate vegetation effect on temperature. Data was collected in 28 green infrastructures through inventories, surveys and temperature measurements. In total; four (04) urban green infrastructure types were identified in Bobo-Dioulasso city: recreational spaces, educational spaces, vegetable gardens and linear plantations. Flora includes 65 species divided into 58 genera and 35 families. It is composed of 36 exotic species and 29 local species. The majority of green infrastructure studied 89.28% have a low temperature inside and a higher temperature on the outskirts. Green infrastructure plays an important role in stabilizing the urban climate.
