Abstract

The diagnosisof the urachuscyst is clinical and radiological based on ultrasound and computed tomography. This diagnosis can be difficult in the context of a referral hospital in sub-Saharan Africa. Its treatment is always surgical and well codified, (avoiding) preventing malignant degeneration. It must be known by clinicians and radiologists working in sub-Saharan Africa, where CT scan may fail to establish an diagnosis. We report a case of urachal cyst discovered at Sourou sanou Teaching hospital, that illustrate the difficulties of diagnosis.
