Bien que déterminante dans l’offre de soins de qualité en milieu hospitalier, il demeure difficile de mesurer et d'évaluer la qualité de l'organisation des services infirmiers dans les hôpitaux publics du Burkina Faso. Cela s'explique par le manque d'outils valides, adaptés au contexte du pays. La présente étude a pour but d'adapter et de valider des normes et des critères de qualité existants (HUBINON, 1998), portant sur l'organisation des services infirmiers hospitaliers. Ainsi, 8 dimensions, 34 normes et  183 critères ont été d'une part  adaptés et d'autre part validés auprès de 26 informateurs-clés. Ceux-ci travaillent dans les hôpitaux publics, les établissements de formation ainsi que dans les directions centrales du Ministère de la santé. La technique Delphi a été retenue afin d'amener les informateurs-clés à se prononcer, à deux reprises, par courrier, sur la clarté, la pertinence et l’importance de chaque critère proposé. Ils avaient aussi la possibilité de reformuler ou d'ajouter, des normes et des critères jugés pertinents au regard du contexte du Burkina Faso ou encore d'en retrancher d'autres. Au terme du processus de validation, 8 dimensions, 33 normes et 189 critères de qualité ont été retenus. Ils constituent dorénavant un outil de base du processus d'appréciation de la qualité de l'organisation des services infirmiers hospitaliers.

To measure and assess the quality of the organization of nurses services in public hospital in Burkina Faso Remain difficult even though it is decisive in quality care offer by the Jack of tools required and adaptable to the context of the country. That present stud y aims at adapting and validating norms and existing quality criteria (HUBINON, 1998) aiming at the organization of hospital nurses services. Therefore 8dimensions 34 norms. 183 criteria have, on the one hand been adapted and on the other hand validated towards 26 key­

informants working in public hospitals, training schools as well as in the central services of the Ministry in charge of Health .The Delphi Technique has been adopted in order to bring the key-informant s to involve two times by mail on the clearness, the pertinence and the importance of each criterium proposed with the possibility to rearrange or to adjust norms and criteria judged to be relevant according to the context of Burkina Faso or to cancel others.

At the end of the validation 8 dimension 33 norms and 1 89 quality criteria have been adopted. From now on they are a basis  tool of the appreciation proccess of the organization of hospital nurses services
