Étude in vivo de l'activité anthelmintique de Balanites aegyptiaca (L) Del. (Balanitacaea) chez le caprin infesté

Balanites aegyptiaca (L) Del. de la famille des Balanitaceae est une plante largement utilisée en médecine traditionnelle aussi bien humaine qu'animal sous plusieurs indications.

Dans la présente étude, les auteurs rapportent les résultats de la mise en évidence de l'activité anthelminthique de la poudre des amandes de Balanites aegyptiaca chez des caprins infestés. L'efficacité anthelminthique déterminée selon la méthode de Faecal Egg Count Réduction (FECR) est de 71,67 %, et 96,45 % pour la poudre de Balanites aegyptiaca à 30 et 45 mg/kg respectivement et de 100 % pour le fendbendazole anthelminthique pris comme référence.

Cette activité pharmacologique in vivo chez le caprin parasité indique bien que Balanites aegyptiaca possède des propriétés antiparasitaires certaines.

In the present study, the authors report the results of the highlighting of the anthelmintic activity of the powders of almonds of Balanites aegyptiaca in the infested goal. The given anthelmintic effectiveness according to the method of Faecal Egg Count Reduction (FECR) is 71.67 %, and 96.45 % for the powder of Balanites aegyptiaca to 30 and 45 mg/Kg respectively, and of 100 % for the fendbendazole an anthelmintic taken as reference.

This pharmacological activity in vivo at the caprine ones parasitized indicates that Balanites aegyptiaca has anti helmintic properties.
