Abstract

In Burkina Faso, the carpenters are daily exposed to wood dust and chemicals they use, they are not appropriate
framing. The objective of the study was to describe the regulatory environment, the control of production
wood of the city of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. The « GOOGLE » search engine with the key
words « text regulatory transformation wood Burkina Faso », « structure control processing wood Burkina
Faso » and « control processing wood Burkina Faso » was used. visits and interviews also took place.
Documentary analysis, several regulatory and legislative texts that are not specifically on the wood work
exist in Burkina Faso. Despite the existence of texts and various departments that can be used to control
the working of the wood in general is not framed. Seven (07) occupational diseases in relation to wood
dust are recognized. This list matches the National Institute for research and Safety for the prevention of
accidents of work and occupational diseases and to that of the Morocco. However, it differs from Senegal
and the Tunisia which to list four (04) and Cameroon that gives five (05).
