Abstract

Gynecomastia is the main pathology of the breast in humans, it can occur unilaterally or bilaterally. We
report the case of a 22-year-old patient who consulted for left breast swelling, whose investigation led to the
diagnosis of idiopathic unilateral gynecomastia in the absence of an obvious etiology. Mammography and
ultrasonography of the left breast as well as a chest CT scan found gynecomastia by showing normal
breast tissue type 1, rated ACr Bi-rads 1 with no evidence of malignancy. The patient was referred to the competent
department for a surgical correction of his pathology given the aesthetic discomfort that it gives him.
